Itinerary
Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mafia Island
Your tropical adventure begins with a private transfer from Dar es Salaam International Airport or your city hotel to the domestic terminal for your morning Auric Air flight, departing at 09:30 hrs and arriving in Mafia Island at 10:00 hrs. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly greeted and transferred to your beach resort for check-in and relaxation. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Optional excursions, such as snorkeling, island tours, a Whale Shark tour, or dhow cruises, can be booked directly at the hotel, depending on daily weather conditions. Overnight at Butiama Beach Hotel (HB) or Kinasi Mafia Lodge (FB) or Pole Pole Bungalow (FB).
Day 2: Mafia Island to Dar es Salaam
After breakfast, check out from your beach lodge and transfer to Mafia Airport for your Auric Air flight, departing at 10:15 hrs and arriving in Dar es Salaam at 10:45 hrs. Upon arrival, you'll be met and transferred to either Dar es Salaam International Airport or your city centre hotel, marking the end of your Escape to Tranquility holiday. End of tour.
