Nyerere National Park is the newest park which was gazetted in the year of 2020 from the famously known ‘Selous Game Reserve’. It is the African Largest Pak with a staggering size of 30,893km2 hosts one of the world’s largest concentrations of wildlife. The diversity and abundance of wildlife offer an astounding volume of both rare and common species. The park hosts the famous ‘Big Five’ and some rare species of antelopes like Roan Antelopes, Brindled Gnu, Lichtenstein hartebeest, Sable Antelopes and Kudu. This place is the home of the largest concentration of elephants and hippos, African wild dogs to mention but a few. It is one of the most beautiful and scenic landscapes that add the stunning appeal of this majestic place.
Mikumi National Park is the most appealing park and easily accessible from Dar es Salaam which offers appealing African adventure safaris. This park will give you a true taste of spotting wildlife in Tanzania while preserving your precious time. The park has a variety of species of plants and animals that can easily be seen such as hippos living in the hippo pools, zebra, wildebeest, Impala and buffalo, lion, giraffe, elephants are found on the grassy plains. Day 1: Depart from Dar es Salaam – Nyerere National Park
This is the sunrise beautiful and running day to depart from Dar es Salaam early in the morning after breakfast, you will receive your first welcoming impression from your professional and experienced driver-guide and brief about your adventures safari in an off beaten track. Then drive directly to the park for a hot lunch and a short leisure break, Late in the afternoon join the most experiencial of boat ride excursion around the Great Rufiji River from 4:00pm and get a chance to explore a huge number of bird and animal species in a proximity. Finally, get back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Full Day Game Drive at Nyerere National Park
In the morning wake up at your accommodation and get breakfast, then drive for a full day wildlife adventure safari inside the park. You will have a good chance to spot many wildlife-like buffalos, lions, elephants, giraffe, zebra, and other animals such as greater Kudu and Sable Antelope found in the miombo woodland covered foothills of the mountain that rise from park boundaries. There are the best and incredible birdlife in the park with more than 440 species of birds have been recorded in the sandbank of the expo lakes and channels and become home to the variety of magical ever-appealing home of bird species After the full day game drive then return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Nyerere National Park – Mikumi National Park
Early in the morning participate in the natural wilderness walking safaris and explore both wild animal and plant species at close proximity. Finally, return to your accommodation for breakfast and drive directly to Mikumi National Park for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Full Day Game Drive at Mikumi National Park
Early in the morning after breakfast leave your accommodation for a full day game drive inside Mikumi Park. You may have a good chance to spot many wildlife-like buffalos, lions, zebras, giraffes, and elephants. Also, the greater Kudu and sable antelope can be found in the miombo woodland covered foothills of the mountain that rise from park boundaries. More than 400 species of birds are found in this most appealing park. Back to accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: 2020: Mikumi National Park - Dar es Salaam
The morning after breakfast leave your accommodation for a morning sunrise game drive inside the park. Around 11:00 am start to drive back to Dar es Salaam where you will be dropped off at the agreed point and that will mark the end of your African adventure safaris experience.
